Valentine’s Day Red Velvet Crepes

Happy Valentine’s Day weekend everyone! Here’s a quick dessert recipe that you can make for your loved ones on cupid’s day ♥ You can create heart shapes on the crepes by cutting a heart out of a piece of paper and place it directly on the crepes before dusting it with powdered sugar.

Valentine’s Day Red Velvet Crepes

Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tsp butter
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 4 tsp red food coloring
  • 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
  • --------------------------------------
  • Extra butter for cooking
  • Whipped cream & Powered sugar & Chocolate syrup for serving

Directions:

  1. Combine all eggs, milk, flour, salt, red food coloring, vanilla, sugar, and butter. Mix until smooth and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  2. Heat pan to medium high and brush with butter. Pour 1/4 cup of batter and tilt the pan to evenly coat pan surface with batter. Cook 2 minutes per side.
  3. Serve with a dollop of whipped cream, drizzle of chocolate syrup, and dusting of powered sugar.

  1. When u first posted this on instagram I actually ran to our nearest crepe shop and ordered crepes! LOL. They didn’t have red velvet so I just got strawberries and nutella! But I’m definitely making this soon.
